Terms of Service

Last updated 11 September 2026

By adding the Lemo bot to a Discord server, or by using Lemo Studio on this website, you agree to these terms. They are deliberately short.

What Lemo is

Lemo AI is a Discord bot and a web assistant, run by an individual operator. It has a free half — the lemon economy, XP, and the basic moderation filters — and a paid half that spends Credits on AI replies.

You are talking to an AI

Lemo’s replies are generated by an AI model. It is wrong sometimes, including confidently and in detail. It is not advice. Check anything that matters before acting on it, and never rely on it for legal, medical, financial or safety decisions. You are responsible for what you do with what it tells you.

What you may not do

  • Use Lemo to break Discord’s Terms of Service or Community Guidelines — your Discord account and your server are on the line, not just ours.
  • Use it to harass anybody, to produce hate speech, or to produce sexual content involving minors. Lemo refuses these, and attempting them may cost you access.
  • Resell Lemo’s replies as your own product, or run it as a backend for another service.
  • Attack the service — automated scraping, hammering the API, or trying to get around the usage limits.
  • Share, sell or publish an access code you did not buy.

Credits and plans

Credits belong to your account, not to one server: one balance funds every server you add Lemo to. They expire at the end of the plan month and do not roll over. Prices and what each action costs are on the Pricing page and inside Lemo itself.

Plans are not on sale yet. When they are, we will add refund terms here before taking any money.

The usage allowance in Lemo Studio

Studio has its own allowance, separate from Credits, and it stops the chat when it runs out rather than quietly answering worse. It refills continuously — both windows are rolling — and Studio tells you when it lifts. The allowance can be changed as the service grows.

What Lemo changes in your server

Lemo only builds, edits or removes things in a Discord server when somebody with Manage Server presses Apply. Nothing happens on a timer and nothing happens without that press. Almost everything can be undone from Studio’s History, and the one thing that cannot — deleting a channel — requires you to type its name first, because Discord keeps no copy of the messages.

You are responsible for changes you apply to a server you administer.

Your content

What you write stays yours. You give us only the permission needed to run the service — to store your messages, send them to an AI provider for a reply, and show them back to you. See the Privacy Policy for who that is and how long anything is kept.

Availability

This is a small service run by one person. It may go down, lose features, or change. We do not promise uptime, and we may suspend or stop it. If it stops for good we will say so in the official Discord server and give you a chance to export your chats first.

Ending it

You can leave at any time: remove the bot from your servers, and delete your data from Settings → Data controls. We may remove access from anybody breaking these terms, and in that case unused Credits are not refunded.

Liability

Lemo is provided “as is”, without warranty. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for damage caused by relying on an AI reply, by a change you applied to a server, or by the service being unavailable. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

If these terms change materially, the date at the top changes and we will say so in the official Discord server. Continuing to use Lemo after that means you accept the new terms.
